Removing a role from my Oyster account

You cannot remove a role entirely from the Oyster Platform, but you can remove an existing user's access to that role by revoking their access.

This article shows you how to remove access roles from current users in your Oyster account. 

Prerequisites

  • You have Admin access to your company's account.
  • You are logged in to the Oyster Platform with your admin credentials.

Steps

  1. In the navigation bar, click Company > Settings.
  2. Select the User access permissions tab.
  3. Locate the specific user in the list and click the three dots next to the user's name.

  1. Select Revoke all permissions.

  1. Confirm your action by clicking Revoke permissions

  1. The user loses their current permissions to your Oyster Account.

You cannot revoke an Admin who is also set as your company's Expense Approver. You must set a new Expense Approver first.

  1. Now, you can re-invite this existing user as a new access role.
