Teamtailor | API Key Authentication

This article provides guidance on creating an API key to link your Teamtailor account to Oyster.

Prerequisites

• You have Admin access to your company’s account.
• You are logged in to Teamtailor with your Admin credentials.

Steps

Sign in to Teamtailor and click your account name in the top right of the top navigation bar. Then click Settings.
On the left hand navigation bar, click API Keys under Integrations. Then click + New API Key in the upper right corner.
Give a name to the new API key. Select Admin under API Scope. Select Read and Write. Then click Create.
Your API Key has been generated! Hover over the new API Key then click the copy icon to copy the API Key and store it somewhere safe.  Go to Connecting to Oyster to complete the remaining steps in Oyster's platform.
