Humaans | Syncing termination data

This information applies to:
✔  EOR Team Members ✔ Payroll Team Members ✔ PEO Team Members

The Humaans integration allows you to streamline the offboarding process. Changes made to a Team Member's termination record in Humaans automatically create a "Draft" Offboarding request on the Oyster platform. Once submitted, the request is sent to our staff for processing.

Prerequisites

  • You have Admin access to your company's account.
  • You are logged in to the Oyster Platform with your admin credentials.
  • You have connected Humaans to Oyster.
  • The Team Member is linked to Oyster and Humaans (the same personal and/or work email address is used in both platforms). This ensures the changes will appear in Oyster.

Enable the offboarding add-on

Note: If the offboarding add-on was enabled when the integration was connected, you can skip to the section Next steps.

  1. In the Oyster platform, click Company > Integrations.
  2. Select the My integrations tab.
  3. Click Settings on the Humaans integration.

Next steps

  1. Update your Team Member’s termination data in Humaans.

  1. Once Oyster detects the change, the following will happen:
    • Oyster will create a “Draft” offboarding request and pre-populate data from Humaans,
    • Customer Admin(s) will receive an e-mail notification to navigate to the Offboarding tab under the Team Member profile to complete and submit the Offboarding request.
  2. Click Continue offboarding request flow.

  1. Provide the remaining information and proceed to submit the request.

You're done! Now that the offboarding request has been submitted in Oyster (i.e. the Team Member is in the “Termination Initiated” state), we will not sync any updates made in the HRIS.

Note: If no action is taken on this draft, we will automatically delete it in 10 days from creation.
