Humaans | Obtaining your API access token

This article provides guidance on creating an API access token to link your Humaans account to Oyster.

Prerequisites

  • You have Admin access to your company's account.
  • You are logged in to the Oyster Platform with your admin credentials.
  • You are logged in to Humaans as an Admin or Owner.
  • You have access to Compensation data in your Humaans instance.

Steps

  1. Login to Humaans' platform
  2. Click on the three dots next to your name on the left navigation bar
  3. Click API access tokens

  1. Click Generate new token

  1. Enter a name for this token under Label. For example, "Oyster integration".
  2. Select the following checkboxes:
    • View public and private data
    • View compensations
  3. Click Create access token

  1. Your access toke has been generated! Click to copy it and save it somewhere safe. 
  2. Go to Connecting to Oyster to complete the remaining steps in Oyster's platform.

 

🚨 You won't be able to see this token again so make sure to store it now.
