How to sign a contract

Oyster provides automated contracts based on information provided by you and your new Contractor hire.

Prerequisites

  • You have Admin access to your company’s account.
  • You are logged in to the Oyster Platform with your admin credentials.
  • You have invited your Contractor to Oyster, and they have completed onboarding.
  • You have received an email indicating that the contract is ready to sign.

Steps

  1. Click Team > Team members from the left navigation. 
  2. Locate the contractor in the list of Team Members and click their name.

Click the Type column heading ✨ to sort Team Members by employment type. 

  1. Click the Send for signatures button.
  1. You and your contractor each receive an email to sign the contract via DocuSign.

DocuSign is Oyster's digital signature provider.
