The Salary Insights Tool is designed to help you benchmark salaries and make informed compensation decisions using reliable market data. This guide explains how to access and use the tool effectively.

Getting Started

1. Subscription or Free Trial

When you access the Salary Insights Tool for the first time, you will encounter the Subscription Screen.

• Subscription Options:
  • Annual Subscription: $3,500 per year.
  • Free Trial: Start with a 3-day trial at no cost.

Using the Tool

Once you've subscribed or started the trial, you will enter the main Salary Insights Tool interface.

2. Input Selection

To generate tailored salary benchmarks, provide the following inputs:

1. Role:
   • Choose from over 200+ predefined roles (e.g., Frontend Developer).
     • Each role includes a detailed description to ensure alignment with your roles
2. Seniority Level:
   • Select from 9 seniority levels:
     • Individual Contributors: 4 levels.
     • Managers: 5 levels.
       • Each seniority includes a detailed description to ensure alignment with your seniorities
3. Country:
   • Specify the country for benchmarking salary data. Choose from 130+ countries

3. Viewing Results

After selecting your inputs, the tool displays market salary data for the chosen Role, Seniority Level, and Country. You can customize the results further:

Benchmarks

• Market Data:
  • Data provided in partnership with Figures, a trusted leader in salary benchmarking.
  • View percentiles: 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, and 90th.
  • Evaluate Data Quality: Ratings range from Low to Excellent.
• Oyster Pay Bands:
  • Recommendations for compensation designed to maximize employee satisfaction and business impact.

Note - If you can't find a role you are looking for, try a different version of that role. E.g. "Frontend Developer" instead of "Software Engineer".

  • Explore statutory and typical benefits by country.
• Equity:
  • Discover equity offerings available in different regions.
