ADP Workforce Now® | How to use onboarding template codes

This article explains how to hire a EOR Team Member or a Contractor with an onboarding template code. This is required if you have the Oyster integration for ADP Workforce Now® enabled so that Oyster can successfully sync records.

Prerequisites

• You wish to hire a candidate through Oyster.
• You have Admin access to your company’s account.
• You are logged in to the Oyster Platform with your admin credentials.
• You have connected ADP Workforce Now to Oyster.

Steps

On the Oyster Platform, click Hire and Start hiring. Select the country where you want to hire a Team Member.
Select if you want to hire a EOR Team Member or a Contractor.  Select your package.
Select a hiring template. Proceed with the hiring process.
Once you submit the hire, you will see a task Assign ADP Workforce Now® codes. Click Assign codes.
A pop up will appear with a pre-selected onboarding code. This is your default code. Click on the dropdown to see all your ADP onboarding template codes and select the desired value. Click Confirm.
You will see confirmation that the ADP Workforce Now code has been assigned to the hire. Once this hire is engaged, Oyster will create a record in ADP Workforce Now.
