Why are changes to employee data in Oyster not reflected in TriNet?
After enabling the integration, automatic synchronization takes place every 1 hour. In some instances, the data might take up to 2 hours to update in TriNet.
If you wish to force new data changes to sync immediately, you can manually sync data. You’ll need to have the Admin role on Oyster to force a manual sync.
Steps to manually sync data:
- On the Oyster Platform, click Company > Integrations.
- Select the My integrations tab.
- Find the TriNet tile and click Settings and then General tab.
- Under the section called Integration status, you’ll find the “sync data” button.
How does syncing termination data work?
Your Team Member in TriNet will be changed from Active to Terminating based on their termination date. The termination date is determined during the offboarding flow in the Oyster platform.
Why am I not able to login via SSO?
In order to access Oyster via SSO, you must have one of the following roles in your TriNet account:
- HR Security
- HR Authorizer
- HR Administrator
- Payroll Entry
If you have one of the above roles, you should see a link within TriNet to access the Oyster platform which will allow you to SSO into Oyster when you are logged into TriNet.
