What are my responsibilities as a global payroll customer with Oyster?

As a global payroll customer with Oyster, you have some responsibilities to ensure your direct employees are paid accurately and on-time. 

  1. Provide accurate payroll information including entity details, employee details, and information on benefits. 
  2. Satisfy all past tax obligations before subscribing to Oyster’s global payroll. 
  3. Cancel any prior payroll service or services of professional employee organizations, or employee leasing companies. 
  4. Timely fund via wire transfer your global payroll account as per the funding instructions. 
  5. Update all wage and payroll Information as necessary to reflect changes. 
  6. Timely review and approve payroll calculations and follow the payment instructions provided to you via the Oyster platform.
  7. Provide supporting documentation confirming the employment relationship between you and the Global Payroll Team Member and any other supporting documentation requested by Oyster to fulfill its compliance obligations.
