Slack | Stopping Notifications

You can mute the conversation to stop being alerted about Oyster notifications in Slack. 

  • This does not remove the Oyster app from Slack.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged into Slack
  • An Admin has enabled Oyster notifications in Slack

Steps

  1. Browse to the Apps section in Slack.
  2. Right-click the Oyster app.
  3. Select Mute conversation.

You can restart notifications at any time by right-clicking the Oyster app and selecting Unmute conversation.
