1. How will my team members' payroll be impacted?

No changes will happen on the payroll front. Your team member’s salary including any bonuses and allowances will be prorated and paid by the agreed end date with the third-party employer.

 

2. Are there any changes to team members' benefits?

There will be no changes to your team members' statutory benefits.

 

3. What will happen to team members' WFH allowance?

All Team Members will get 100 euros WFH allowance as this is Oyster's Gold Standard for all Team Members employed in Spain. If the third-party employer was providing a smaller amount it will be increased to match this standard. If you have chosen to provide your Team Members with a WFH allowance higher than 100 euros this will remain the same after the migration.

 

4. Will team members need to redo their health and safety training?
Yes, all team members will have to redo their health and safety training.

 

5. Will team members need new medical checks?
Your team members will have the option to do a new medical check but it will not be mandatory.

 

6. What will happen to accrued holidays?

  • Parakar third-party employer: Accrued but unused holiday will be transferred to Oyster and team members will be able to use it after the transfer

  • Capital GES third-party employer: Accrued but unused holiday will be paid upon termination of the contract with Capital GES

  • New Tandem third-party employer: Accrued but unused holiday will be transferred to Oyster and team members will be able to use it after the transfer

7.  Can my team members use their accrued vacation days instead of having them paid out?

Your team members can use their remaining vacation days as long as their request for time off is approved by the cut-off date for the final month of employment (See: What are cut off dates?). Vacation days can not be canceled or added after the cut-off date.

 

8. Why are there different migration types?

Because of differences in the way third-party employers operate internally the migration can follow a different process. No matter what the process is our Oyster staff will be supporting you and your team members every step of the way to make this a seamless and quick transition.
