What do I need to know about invoicing at Oyster?

Here at Oyster we always try to make global hiring as seamless as possible. That being said, there are certain intricacies associated with global hiring which have to be reflected in your invoices.
Various countries have different benefits, taxes, employment contributions, and statutory allowances. Additionally, these amounts can often vary depending on local legislations and must be adjusted accordingly.

We understand that this can make it a bit more challenging to assess certain charges or costs included in your invoices. We wanted to make it easier by providing the Oyster Guide to Invoicing for Full-time Team Members.

 

How to view the Guide

For easier access, we incorporated this guide on the platform, right above your invoices.

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Click on Payments then Invoices.

  3. Click on the “Guide to Invoicing” button on the top right of the page. You will then be able to view the guide or download it as a PDF file.

Included in the guide is helpful information such as the differences between General Invoices and Deposit Invoices, the Invoicing Timeline and how to read the Invoice Breakdown.
