Invoicing at Oyster

Here at Oyster, we always try to make global hiring as seamless as possible. That being said, there are certain intricacies associated with global hiring that have to be reflected in your invoices. Various countries have different benefits, taxes, employment contributions, and statutory allowances. Additionally, these amounts can often vary depending on local legislation and must be adjusted accordingly.

We understand that this can make it challenging to assess certain charges or costs included in your invoices. We have therefore created a guide with information such as the differences between general invoices and deposit invoices, the invoice timeline, and how to read the invoice breakdown. 

How to view the guide in the platform

For easier access, we incorporated this guide on the platform, right above your invoices.

  1. Log in to the platform.
  2. Click on Payments, then Invoices.
  3. Click on the “Guide to Invoicing” button on the top right of the page. You will then be able to view the guide or download it as a PDF file.
