1. Why is my  employee data in HiBob not syncing to Oyster even though I have connected the integration?

Answer: The reason for this may be because you did not enable the relevant fields under “Approved Scopes” when setting up the integration (which is found in HiBob where you copy your API key-) during setup. After a Team Member is engaged in Oyster, a match is made to their HiBob record based on personal email address. If the email does not match, then data will not be synced.

 

2. I just changed my employee data in HiBob but the change has not reflected in Oyster.

Answer: Integration syncs happen hourly. To immediately sync changes that are made in HiBob, you can manually run the sync by clicking the “sync data” button in HiBob settings. `
