How can I get this insurance?
Your company can enroll team members to Oyster Health via our platform. Companies can find more information about the enrollment process here. If your company chooses to provide this insurance, they will cover the full insurance fee, which is based on a combination of the individual's age and location.
When will I receive an invite to access SafetyWing?
Once your company has signed the Service Agreement, you'll be invited to your insurance portal and your health policy will start on either the 1st or 15th of the month. The effective date will be the 1st of the month if your hiring date is on or before the 15th of the month, otherwise, it will be the 15th of the month.
What happens If I did not receive an invite?
Please submit a request to Oyster Support.
Where can I find more information about my insurance and claims?
Login to your SafetyWing account and manage your insurance, or contact the SafetyWing team via chat or email.
Can the plan be backdated?
Yes, it can be backdated for up to 30 days.
Is maternity covered?
No, maternity is currently not covered under the Standard or Premium Plan.
