About Direct debit
Direct debit is the most secure and efficient form of payment. With Direct Debit, your bank account will automatically be charged once an invoice is approved, eliminating manual wire transfers and payment delays while preserving your right to dispute the charge.
Important Note
If you have a bank account in the UK, US, or Eurozone and pay Oyster in GBP, USD, or EUR, then Direct Debit is the only payment method accepted by Oyster.
Per our terms and conditions, all invoices are auto-approved on the due date (usually 5 days from invoice issuance), unless already approved by yourself before the due date.
Funds will only be pulled after the approval of an invoice and we will immediately initiate a refund of any disputed amounts.
