How do I start hiring a new contractor?

To hire a new contractor, log in to Oyster and access the Hiring flow.

Prerequisites

  • You have Admin access to your company’s account.
  • You are logged in to the Oyster Platform with your admin credentials.

Steps

  1. Click Hire > Hiring process.
  2. The Hire a team member page appears. Click the Add new hire button.
  3. Select the New hire country of residence from the drop-down menu.
  4. Scroll down to choose how you want to hire. Click the Hire as a Contractor button.
  5. Enter details about the contractor.
  6. Click Next to continue populating all forms (role information, compensation and benefits, and additional clauses).
  7. Click Confirm.
