What happens to health insurance when a Team Member is terminated?

When Oyster is informed that a team member is leaving, we will contact our insurance providers to inform them that coverage will end. If the team member’s placement ends before the last day of the month, the team member’s coverage will continue through the end of that month.


If the team member wants coverage continuation at their own expense, Oyster offers discounted rates self-pay options for Allianz Global Health.
