Fixed contractors are paid the same amount of money each month. For fixed contractors, Oyster will auto-generate the invoice each month. These contractors do not have to generate their own invoices.
Pay As You Go (PAYG) contractors get paid a defined rate per defined unit. This could be:
- Fixed-rate either hourly, daily, or weekly.
- Pay per task.
- Commission based.
PAYG contractors have access to Oyster's invoicing platform. They can easily create new invoices that are then submitted for approval. PAYG contractors must generate their own invoices.
All invoices are stored within the Oyster platform.
