Oyster policy is denoted in purple.
Statutory
Unlike what may be seen in other European countries, such as Spain or France, the UK does not distinguish among employees below the executive level. There is no legal definition of “executive”, but generally, executive refers to a company’s senior management or board-level management, including c-suite employees. They may be directors as well. It is recommended to sign different Employment Agreements with executives that take into account their duties, appointment and resignation terms.
While the hiring of employees below the executive or officer level can be supported by Oyster, Oyster cannot support any type of executive, officer, or director titles due to obligational and compliance risks. Team Members cannot sign on behalf of the organization.
